Background Checks & Due Diligence

A background check is a general investigation into an individual or company – not necessarily tied to a specific suspicion. The goal is to give you confidence before you trust someone with responsibility, capital, or a relationship that matters. We work with both private and corporate clients across Israel.

Surveillance

Although surveillance is considered one of the most basic tools in a private investigator’s toolkit, conducting effective surveillance is an art mastered by very few. It is often the key to achieving the entire investigation’s objectives – and we have spent three decades perfecting it.

Infidelity is one of the oldest and most painful issues in any relationship. Our role is to deliver the truth – whether painful clarity or much-needed peace of mind. All evidence is gathered legally and structured to be admissible in Israeli family and rabbinical courts.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Investigation Firm

Yes. Private investigation is fully legal and regulated in Israel under the Private Investigators Law of 1972. Investigators must hold a valid license from the Israeli Ministry of Justice, and all evidence collected by a licensed investigator is admissible in Israeli courts.

Only the holder of a valid “Investigation Office License” issued by the Israeli Ministry of Justice may accept clients and manage private investigations. A personal private investigator license alone is not enough. Hiring an unlicensed investigator can render evidence inadmissible.

To obtain an Investigation Office License from the Israeli Ministry of Justice, an investigator must hold a personal license, complete five years as a licensed investigator, demonstrate professional competence, and meet ethical standards. Most licensed investigation offices in Israel are also members of the Israeli Bar of Private Investigators.

No. Israeli law and professional ethics prohibit success-based fees in private investigations. This protects the integrity of the investigation – an investigator paid by results may be tempted to fabricate or stretch the truth. We work on transparent fixed-fee or hourly arrangements, agreed in writing before any work begins.

Yes. A significant portion of our work is for international clients. We routinely work with law firms, corporations, and private individuals in the US, UK, EU, and beyond. All communications, reports, and documentation can be provided in English.

We structure all evidence collection to meet international evidentiary standards. We have supported cases in U.S. federal court, U.K. civil proceedings, EU jurisdictions, and Israeli rabbinical courts. We work directly with your attorneys to ensure documentation meets local requirements.

Our office is centrally located in Israel, with active investigators across the country – from the north to the south, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and Be’er Sheva. We also operate internationally through a vetted network of partner investigators.

Unfortunately, yes – and we strongly advise against hiring one. Operating as a private investigator without a license is illegal in Israel. More importantly, evidence gathered by an unlicensed investigator may be inadmissible in court and could expose you to legal liability. Always verify your investigator’s license before engaging them.

Why People Turn to a Private Investigation Firm

In recent years, demand for private investigation services has grown significantly. The reasons are diverse – personal suspicions, business risks, legal proceedings, or simply the need for clarity in a complex situation.

People reach out to us when they need answers that they cannot get on their own. When something feels wrong but cannot be proven. When a partnership turns sour. When a relative goes silent. When the truth is buried under layers of deception, geography, or legal complexity.

What every client shares is the need for professionals who can act discreetly, deliver verifiable results, and operate within the law. That is exactly what we do.

What is a Private Investigation Firm?

A private investigation firm is a licensed business entity authorized by the Israeli Ministry of Justice to conduct civil investigations on behalf of private clients, attorneys, and corporations. Unlike police, who investigate criminal matters, private investigators handle disputes, suspicions, and information needs that fall outside the criminal sphere.

Licensed firms operate under strict regulatory oversight, including ethical codes, confidentiality requirements, and limits on the methods they may use. This regulatory framework is what makes professional private investigation a trusted, legally protected service – one that delivers evidence courts will accept and clients can rely on.

The Importance of Discretion in a Private Investigation Firm

For us, discretion is not a marketing slogan. It is the foundation of everything we do, and it is built into the legal obligations of our license. Here is what that means in practice.

Maintaining Confidentiality

Every detail you share with us, from the first phone call to the final report, is protected. Our investigators are bound by professional confidentiality obligations enforced by Israeli law. Breaking that confidentiality can result in license revocation – so the system itself protects you.

Preventing Unwanted Exposure

A poorly run investigation can be worse than no investigation at all. If a target realizes they are being investigated, they may destroy evidence, change behavior, or even take legal action against you. Our entire methodology is designed to ensure the investigation is never detected.

Managing Sensitive Information

We use encrypted communications, secure document handling, and need-to-know information sharing – even within our own team. Information about your case is not discussed casually, stored carelessly, or shared with anyone beyond what is strictly necessary.

Earning Client Trust

Trust cannot be granted instantly. It is built through every interaction: the way we answer your first call, the questions we ask, the way we handle your information, and the way we deliver results. Many of our clients come to us through referrals – a fact we are proud of, because referrals only come from trust.

A License That Depends on It

Our license to operate as a private investigation firm in Israel is contingent on maintaining absolute discretion. This is not just an internal value. It is a regulatory requirement. When you hire a licensed firm, the entire system is structured to protect your privacy.

Do You Have Concerns or Suspicions?

Talk to a licensed investigator. The first conversation is always free, always confidential, and always with no obligation.

How to Choose a Private Investigation Firm

Choosing the right investigation firm is a critical decision. The wrong choice can compromise your case, expose your privacy, and waste significant time and money. Here is what to look for.

Experience & Professionalism

Look for a firm with substantial field experience – not just years on paper, but actual case experience in your specific type of investigation. An investigator who has handled hundreds of similar cases will know what to look for, what mistakes to avoid, and how to anticipate the next move.

License & Credentials

Always verify the firm holds a valid Investigation Office License from the Israeli Ministry of Justice. This is non-negotiable. Ask to see the license. A professional firm will provide it without hesitation.

Discretion

Pay attention to how the firm handles your initial inquiry. Do they ask for personal details before establishing trust? Do they speak openly in public spaces? Do they share past client stories that could identify those clients? Discretion shows itself in the small things.

References & Reviews

Look for verified reviews, ask for references when appropriate, and check for press coverage or recognized credentials. A firm with a long track record will have a public footprint that reflects the quality of its work.

Specialization

Make sure the firm has specific experience in your type of case. A surveillance specialist may not be the right fit for a complex international asset search. Ask directly: “Have you handled cases like mine? How many? What were the outcomes?”

Transparency in Process & Pricing

A professional firm will explain its process clearly and provide a transparent, written quote before any work begins. Be wary of vague pricing, success-based fees (which are illegal in Israel), or refusal to discuss methodology.

Not Sure if Your Case is Right for an Investigation?

Reach out anyway. We will tell you honestly whether we can help, what it would involve, and what to expect. No pressure. No charge. Just clarity.
